Ivy Bank was started by Sam. We began as a 5 van caravan site and slowly grown into the site today, adding additional facilities each year. We now work full time on the site with quirky showers, lounge, horsebox washing up area and different types of glamping accommodation. We love supporting our local village community as much as possible through the Glampfest , local pub the Queens Head, shop, fish & chip shop and butchers.
Ivy Bank is a 5 min walk to the village community with a village shop/deli, locally supplied butchers, fish and chip show who do fab takeaway and finally the queens head pub.We have 9 grass pitches with electric hookups, then plenty of other places to pitch. A quaint converted horsebox for glamping, 4 bell tents and even a fiat panda you can sleep and BBQ in. A lovely heated shower block with lounge looking over the fields.

Came to Ivy Bank to meet up with family and what a gem it is. It's not the biggest of sites and the facilities aren't in abundance but this didn't stop us having a brilliant time. It's setting is beautiful with no main roads near by which means your sleep is not disturbed the only noises you here are the owls in the trees. The village is in walking distance and there's a really nice pub with great food and a fab fish and chip shop too. The sites surrounded by paths to take a nice stroll through the rolling hills of the Yorkshire dales. We'll be back to stay here for sure.
We like to keep things relaxed & simple at the site, we wont tell you to park 2 inches to the left or come over with a tape measure, tell you that your sigh written van is not allowed, that your tow bar must be facing the road or that theirs no drinking between 10pm & 8am! we arent the caravan club
but we DO expect our guests to have some degree of common sense, to show respect to other guests & not play loud music well into the evening or morning . Not shout or cause nuisance, please leave the showers clean if the floor needs mopping be kind & mop it. we ent scared to ask you to leave or to help you leave with a tractor + towrope
