A really fun & challenging days ride starting from the site, heading up to the moors through streams and forest. Over toms corner bridge then down into Nidderdale (a nice downhill section).
When you meet the road towards Lofthouse personally at Helks wood head down into the vally and take the road down to Pateley Bridge stop at Wath and the sportsman arms for lunch then circled around the lake to carry on the route. Then follow the road to Lofthouse
A steep climb after Lofthouse to the old roman road back to high kirkby moor is a nice gravel decent. Then a well deserved pint at the queens head !
